A one day briefing for journalists is organised within the European Security Research Conference in Paris, an event organised under the French Presidency of the European Union. Around 1200 representatives from research organisations, industry and European Institutions are expected to take part.

Terrorism, organised crime and natural disasters are all examples of issues where security research can have an impact. The event presents an opportunity to learn more about research project already carried out, and research’s contribution to security through concrete demonstrations.

Journalists will have free access to the conference programme, and will be able to exchange views with key-actors present at the event.
