At the initiative of EuropeAid Co-operation Office, the European Journalism Centre is organising a programme of seminars focusing on the hot issues of external cooperation aiming to provide journalists with background knowledge and contacts about key policy issues and examples from the field. This seminar, open to journalists from EU12 will be organised within the European Development Days EDD, taking place in Strasbourg, France.

The EDD is a major event hosting some 3000 participants, representing over 1200 organisations in the development community (administrations, parliaments, local authorities, civil society, international organisations, academics, development agencies, the private sector and the media). Discussions will focus on the local dimension of development cooperation and implementation of the Millennium Development Goals in particular.
