Bulgaria and Romania are on the verge of the successful completion of the fifth enlargement. Croatia - having commenced accession negotiations last October - is closely following suite. This is a key period to inform journalists from these 3 countries about EU's policies and institutions. To that end the European Journalism Centre and DG Enlargement of the European Commission are organising a series of seminars on the main aspects of the enlargement process. The training will enable journalists to provide citizens in the candidate countries with timely and accurate information about the EU.
