Interfacing Innovation

You are cordially invited to an international conference on creativity and innovation from 19-22 April 2009, to be held in Brussels by the EJC and the European Commission’s DG Education and Culture.
With a particular focus on the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, the programme will also examine the history of innovation; development of the EIT; links between education, entrepreneurship and innovation; and the social impact of technological innovation, etc.
Speakers include David Nordfors, Executive Director of the VINNOVA Stanford Research Center of Innovation Journalism at Stanford University as well as representatives from CERN and other high profile technology organisations.
The event is mainly aimed at media professionals covering business, technology, culture and education. For the duration of the conference, this diverse group of journalists will be given high-definition cameras, with a view to maximising interaction and recording the many different angles on offer.
