Covering the Europe INNOVA Conference
25 October - 27 October 2010, Liège (Enterprise & Industry 2010)

In recent years Europe, along with the rest of the globe, has had to confront an unprecedented crisis affecting all sectors of the economy. This crisis and the European Union’s determination to recover will show how Europe must evolve and ensure that it is stronger and better prepared for the challenges of the 21st century.
The 3rd Europe INNOVA Conference has invited experts and officials from the private and public sector to address policy priorities for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth. Speakers will highlight how innovation can support the transition towards a resource efficient and competitive economy.
Held in Liège (Belgium) October 27-29, the conference is organised by the Belgian Presidency of the EU in collaboration with DG Enterprise and Industry. In light of this event the European Journalism Centre is tailoring an one-day programme for journalists in the field of technology and innovation.
Participants will have the opportunity to attend keynote addresses, roundtable discussions, private sessions and dinners with a wide range of figures from the worlds of politics, academia and business.
