The contribution of entrepreneurship to Europe’s welfare, jobs innovation and competitiveness will be debated during the European SME Week Summit held in Brussels on 7 October.
The European Journalism Centre invites 30 journalists to join the discussion with officials from the European Commission, European Parliament, as well as entrepreneurs and representatives from stakeholder organizations.
Journalists will have the opportunity to learn the latest developments in the field, including on access to finance for SMEs, e-business prospects for SME expansion, boosting women’s entrepreneurship and facilitating business transfers in Europe.
There will be a joint dinner on 6 October with 30 entrepreneurs speaking on their success stories and journalists will have the opportunity for interviews.

Journalists coming from EU-27, as well as from Albania, Croatia, Norway, Iceland, Serbia, and Turkey are eligible to apply.

Organisers cover travel and accommodation for the duration of the programme.
