European Network of Mentors for Women Entrepreneurs
14 November - 15 November 2011, Warsaw, Poland (Enterprise and Industry 2011)

Meet the women who follow their dreams!
In times of economic crises and rising unemployment, people want to hear of success stories more than ever before…
The European Journalism Centre, in partnership with the European Commission’s Directorate General for Enterprise and Industry, will organise a 2-day press seminar in Warsaw from 14-15 November 2011 where a group of 35 journalists will be introduced to the new European Network of Mentors for Women Entrepreneurs.
Europe in crisis doesn’t have enough people taking the risk to set up new business and there are fewer women than men entrepreneurs. But, for those who dare, there are now an ever-growing number of positive examples to follow via the European networks of Mentors for Women Entrepreneurs and the Ambassadors of Female Entrepreneurship.
Selected journalists will have the opportunity to mingle with up to 500 guests including 300 mentors, 150 ambassadors, Polish Presidency officials and representatives from other European Institutions who will come together to discuss the benefits of mentoring, good practices and experience of women entrepreneurship ambassadors.
Journalists from the EU-27, Albania, Croatia, FYROM, Iceland, Norway, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey can apply on www.ejcseminars.eu.
Travel, accommodation and some meals are covered by the organisers.
