Economic Priorities of the Danish Presidency

In the first half of 2012, Denmark will hold the Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The European Journalism Centre and the European Commission's DG Economic and Financial Affairs invite you to an exclusive three-day seminar on the “Economic Priorities of the Danish Presidency" taking place in Brussels from 29 November - 1 December 2011.
This seminar is tailored to Danish journalists covering economics, finance and business issues. It will focus on the role of the Danish Presidency at addressing the current European economic and financial challenges, tackling the vital issues of boosting the EU’s economic growth and ensuring a sound economy in these turbulent times.
This three-day programme will enable the participants to meet and discuss with EU high-ranking officials, policy makers and experts from Brussels-based think tanks. Participating journalists will also have the opportunity to attend the European Commission’s midday briefing and the press conference of the Economic and Financial Affairs Council.
NB: The organisers will cover the costs of travel, accommodation and meals.
