Covering the European Development Days 2011
14 December - 16 December 2011, Warsaw (EuropeAid 2011)

Time for change? Proposed shake-up of the EU’s Development Policy post-Arab Spring…
Now in their sixth year, the EDDs have become a key event on the international development calendar and a major political discussion forum which brings together former and current Heads of State and Government from Europe and many other parts of the world, especially from Africa, as well as academics, media and civil society.
This year’s event, held in Warsaw 15-16 December, sees the European Journalism Centre, in co-operation with the European Commission’s DG EuropeAid, offering a select group of 12 journalist from EU-27 member states the opportunity to cover issues focusing on democracy and development in the wake of the recent Arab Spring events and the proposals made by the European Commission for more sustainable EU development policy for the future.
The organisers will cover costs for travel, accommodation and most meals.
Selected journalists will have a solid reporting background in the areas of international relations and development, and should register as soon as possible online for this major media event at www.ejcseminars.eu.
