A two-day tailor-made seminar for Croatian journalists will take place in Lisbon, Portugal, between 27-28 February 2012.

15 journalists representing Croatian online, print and broadcast media will take part in a two-day programme under the theme: EU policies in action. With a strong focus on tourism and fisheries policies, the seminar aims at illustrating to the visiting journalists how EU membership impacted on these sectors’ development in Portugal.

The programme will provide an opportunity to meet representatives from the local and national authorities, as well as to visit sustainable projects in the fields of tourism and fisheries.

The event is organized by the European Journalism Centre on behalf of the Directorate General Enlargement, European Commission.

The organizers cover flights, accommodation and meals during the programme days.
