There are no doubts that the European Union needs to boost its competitiveness in order to re-launch economic growth, thoroughly challenged by more than 3 years of crisis, but what are the measures taken by the European Commission? Would the EU be able to trigger a new industrial revolution based on innovation? Come to Brussels to listen what the European Commission Vice-President Antonio Tajani has to say about it!

60 journalists from EU-27 countries and international correspondents based in Europe will have the opportunity to participate in the conference "Mission Growth: Europe at the Lead of the New Industrial Revolution", with keynote addresses from high-level politicians, experts and stakeholders such as the President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso, Prime Minister of Denmark Helle Thorning-Schmidt and the economist Jeremy Rifkin. The participants will have an exclusive meeting with European Commission Vice-President Antonio Tajani.

This one-day event is organised by the European Journalism Centre in cooperation with the European Commission’s Directorate-General Enterprise and Industry. The organisers will cover travel expenses, accommodation and most meals.

If you are interested in participating, apply on www.ejcseminars.eu as soon as possible.
