Experience the Single market week in Italy! The European Journalism Centre together with the European Commission- DG MARKT will invite 30 selected journalists to Rome to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Single market.

This 2-day seminar will take place on 15-16 October 2012. Invited journalists will learn more about Single market policies, mingle with guests from the European Commission, European Parliament, Italian government, think-tanks and attend the discussions organised by the European Journalism Centre and the EC Representation in Rome. The discussion about the Banking Union and meeting with leading Italian economists are foreseen.

The Vice-President of the European Commission responsible for Industry and Entrepreneurship Antonio Tajani and Vice-Presidents of the European Parliament are also among the invited guests.
