The end of this year will be crucial for the single currency… We will know more about the outlook for Greece in the Euro area and the "Spain against the markets" fight.

The Euro area is shifting towards a Banking Union and deeper integration. But some countries are clearly less supportive of a “more Europe” direction than others.

The European Journalism Centre in cooperation with the European Commission’s Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs (DG ECFIN) is organising another seminar from the successful series on the economic crisis. 18 journalists from the EU 27, covering economic and financial topics will be selected to come to Brussels.

They will have the possibility to cover the Eurogroup and the ECOFIN meetings, press conferences of Jean-Claude Juncker and Olli Rehn and discuss these topics with high-level guests from the EU institutions, MEPs, the banking sector, think-tanks and experts.
