The 8th edition of the European Development Days (EDD) covers the theme ‘A vision for the post-2015 agenda’ and will discuss and debate the EU’s objective to set a globally agreed, ambitious framework that addresses poverty eradication and sustainable development, and ensures a decent life for all by 2030.
The forum will bring together leading EU political figures, heads of state, UN agencies and NGO representatives to discuss and exchange ideas across a broad range of topics.

Within this framework, the European Journalism Centre and the European Commission's DG for Development & Cooperation, are offering 15 selected journalists from the EU28 member states the opportunity to attend a press event alongside the European Development Days in order to get a closer look at the proceedings. Journalists will also obtain exclusive access to some of the developing world's top decision-makers and stakeholders.

The event will take place in Brussels on November 25-27, 2013.
