Journalists and media organisations can submit applications for innovative development storytelling grants until the 2nd of March 2016 (22:00 CET). The European Journalism Centre is currently running the seventh call for applications for its Innovation in Development Reporting (IDR) Grant Programme.
We are looking for stories that can meet the new development priorities, and can lead to a meaningful impact on societies globally. Pitch us powerful and original editorial approaches, stories with investigative and genuinely journalistic techniques that can innovate the development narratives.

Journalists and relevant media outlets that target audiences in one or more of the following nine European countries are eligible to apply: Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. Journalists and media outlets not based in the countries mentioned above, as well as freelancers, are eligible to apply as cooperation partners of admissible organisations.
We expect the average grant given to be about 15.000-20.000 euros.
