In cooperation with the European Commission's Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (NEAR) department, the European Journalism Centre is organising a press visit to Georgia for 15 EU journalists on 5-7 April 2016.

The foreseen visit will enable journalists to become familiar with the EU's support of the region, and to gather human interest stories in the context of the European Neighbourhood Policy both on the political and economic level.

Field trips will include meetings with experts, civil society representatives and other local stakeholders.

The organisers will cover travel, accommodation, most meals and insurance.

Please note that journalists specialised in the region and feature writers will be given priority in the selection process. Knowledge of Russian will also be considered as an advantage.
