Press trip to Serbia
24 April - 26 April 2017, Belgrade (DG NEAR 2016)

The European Journalism Centre, on behalf of the Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations department of the European Commission (DG NEAR), will organise a press trip to Serbia on 24-26 April April 2017 for a group of 15 journalists from EU media.
It is envisaged, if time allows, that the last programme day should include two visits outside of Belgrade:
1) a social housing project for Roma families.
2) a visit to Ov?a, debriefing followed by a tour and opportunity to talk to migrants and their families.
The visit will also provide opportunities to meet with local media, government representatives, civil society and other stakeholders, as well as to find out more about the business environment in the country. For one, the journalists will be debriefed by Mr Oskar Benedikt, Acting Head of EU Delegation in Serbia.
Journalists from French, German, Austrian, Dutch, UK, Belgian, Finnish, Swedish, Spanish and Italian media are especially encouraged to apply for participation. Registration closes on Tuesday 11 April.
Travel, accommodation and most meals will be covered by the organisers.
